How to Configure CommsMobile Email Notifications in the Comms Portal
Overview
Partners can choose which CommsMobile activity emails are sent and who receives them. Set a partner-wide default once, then override it for any individual customer that needs different recipients or notification types.
You need a partner user with admin access to change these settings.
How It Works
Email notifications are configured on two levels:
- Partner level (default): set in Company Information under the General tab. These settings apply to every customer under the partner.
- Customer level (override): set on an individual customer's General tab. By default each customer shows Using partner defaults. Turn off the Use partner defaults toggle to set recipients and notification types for that customer only.
Notification Types
Select any combination of the following events. Each selected event sends an email to every chosen recipient.
| Notification | Sent when |
|---|---|
| Customer creation | A new customer is created under the partner. |
| Service activation / port-in | A new service is activated or a number is ported in. |
| Activation / port-in failure or rejection | An activation or port-in request fails or is rejected. |
| Service network feature change | Network features on a service are changed. |
| Call forwarding setup | Call forwarding is set up on a service. |
| SIM swap | A SIM swap is performed on a service. |
| Add to pool | A service is added to a data pool. |
| Service cancellation | A service is cancelled. |
| Service plan change | The plan on a service is changed. |
