CommsMobile Pooling Plans 2.0

Overview

CommsMobile Pooling Plans 2.0 are SIM-only mobile services offered through CommsChannel reseller partners using the Telstra Wholesale Mobile Network.

Pooling plans allow multiple mobile services within the same organisation to share a common monthly data pool, instead of each service having its own individual data allowance.

All services within a pool consume data from the same shared data allowance.

These plans include:

• Unlimited national voice calls

• Unlimited national SMS

• Unlimited national MMS (excluding video MMS)

• Shared monthly mobile data pool

• Optional international roaming bolt-ons

Pooling plans do not support data banking.

A single pool can support up to 300 services.

Pools can include a combination of mobile and data-only services.

Network coverage reaches approximately 98.8% of the Australian population.

Pooling Plans 2.0 support Data Only services within a pool. These plans are designed for tablets, routers, and data-only devices that share from the pool.

Data Only services:

• Do not include voice calls

• Do not include SMS or MMS

• Do not support international roaming

• Are intended for domestic data use only

Data Pooling – Pooling Plans 2.0

Pooling Plans allow services within the same organisation to share a single data pool.

Key rules:

• All services consume from the shared data allowance

• Maximum 300 services per pool

• Additional pools required beyond this limit

• Pools cannot combine services from multiple customers

• Data resets each billing cycle

• No data banking or rollover

Service Movement

If a service leaves a pool:

• Any contributed data is forfeited

• The service must move to a standalone plan to receive an individual data allowance

Data Bolt-Ons – Pooling Plans 2.0

If the shared data pool is exhausted:

• Data access stops for all services

Additional data can be added using:

10GB Domestic Pool Bolt-On

• 10GB shared across the pool

• Maximum 5 bolt-ons per billing cycle

• Can be applied: Manually via portal or automatically via Auto Top-Up

Auto Top-Up

• Automatically adds a 10GB bolt-on when pool is exhausted

• Must be enabled on the pool

Roaming Bolt-On Packs

Pay-As-You-Go roaming is disabled.

Customers must purchase a roaming pack to use services internationally.

• SMS notification sent upon arrival in supported destination

• Packs activated via SMS to 179

• Additional packs can be purchased via SMS

Billing Cycle

28th to 27th of each month.

Plan Activation

Services are activated via the Customer Portal or Reseller Portal.

Charges are prorated.

Plan Disconnection

Must be completed via the Customer Portal or Reseller Portal.

Charges are not prorated.

Plan Changes

• One change per billing cycle

• Effective on the 27th

• Charges continue until cycle end

• No credit for unused days

Migrating from CommsMobile 1.0 to 2.0

CommsMobile 1.0 and 2.0 SIMs are not compatible. To move customers to 2.0:

• Activate an eSIM directly in CommsPortal, or

• Order new physical SIMs through your Account Manager
