Yeastar: Configuring Inbound & Outbound Routes
Published:
Overview
Inbound routes send incoming calls on each DID to the right destination. Outbound routes control which trunk external calls use and which users can dial which numbers.
Steps to Create an Inbound Route
- Go to Call Control > Inbound Route and click Add.
- Enter a name and select the trunk.
- Set the DID pattern in the format the trunk presents.
- Set the destination: IVR, Ring Group, Queue, Extension or Call Flow.
- Optionally enable time-based routing for business hours and holidays.
- Click Save and Apply.
Steps to Create an Outbound Route
- Go to Call Control > Outbound Route and click Add.
- Add the dial patterns (see below).
- Select the trunk(s) the route uses.
- Select the extensions allowed to use the route.
- Click Save and Apply, then check the route priority in the list.
Steps to Set Outbound Caller ID per User
- Go to Extension and Trunk > Trunk and edit the trunk.
- Click the Outbound Caller ID tab and click Add.
- Assign caller IDs to extensions (individually, shared or as a range).
- Click Save and Apply.
