Yeastar - Ring Group Setup

Overview

A Ring Group allows multiple extensions to ring simultaneously or sequentially when a call is received.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Yeastar P-Series Cloud PBX admin portal.

  2. Go to Call Features → Ring Group.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Fill in the following details:

    • Number: Assign a number (e.g., 6300–6399).

    • Name: Enter a friendly name for the ring group.

    • Strategy (Ring Policy):

      • Ring All Simultaneously

      • Ring Sequentially

      • Least Recent / Fewest Calls / Round Robin

    • Ring Time / Timeout: Set how long calls ring before failover.

  5. Add Members (extensions or external numbers).

  6. Set Failover Destination (e.g., Voicemail, Queue, IVR).

  7. (Optional) Enable Group Voicemail if required.

  8. Click Save.
