3CX: How to Send and Receive SMS

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to send and receive SMS messages using the 3CX Client Portal. Steps to Send an SMS in 3CX

Step 1: Open Chat

Inside the 3CX Portal, click on Chat.

Step 2: Start a New Conversation

Click the + icon to start a new conversation.

Step 3: Choose Send SMS

Click Send SMS.

Step 4: Enter the Recipient

Either type in the number or select an existing contact to start your conversation with.

Step 5: Select the SMS Provider

Select the SMS provider. It will be the one with your SMS number.

Step 6: Write and Send the Message

Write the message in the type box and send the SMS.

Step 7: Send and Receive

This is how you send and receive SMS from the 3CX Client.
