CommsMobile Pooling Plans 2.0 : Create & Manage a Data Pool

Overview
For your pooling plans, the Pools are created and managed separately, so partners can group specific Pooling Plan services as needed. A one-time $8 charge applies when a pool is created.
Steps to Create a Data Pool
- Log in to Comms Portal and click Pools from the left-hand menu.
- Click Create Pool.
- Fill in the Create Pool form:
- Pool Name: enter a descriptive label, for example the customer's company name or site name.
- Partner: search and select the relevant partner. Minimum 3 characters to search.
- Customer: search and select the customer this pool is being created for.
- Pool Type: choose between:
- Auto Topup adds 10 GB automatically when the pool's data runs low.
- No Auto Topup means top-ups are handled manually.
- Notification Email: select the email that will receive pool alerts. This field only becomes available once a customer is selected.
- Click Create. The $8 setup charge is applied at this step.
- The pool takes 15 to 20 minutes to appear in the Pools list.
Steps to Add Subscribers to a Pool
- In Comms Portal, go to Pools and click the pool from the list.
- The Pool Information panel opens. It shows the customer, service number, notification email, creation date, and current subscriber count. Data usage and subscriber capacity are shown as charts. Each pool supports up to 300 subscribers.
- Scroll down and click Add Subscribers.
- All active Pooling Plan services under the selected customer will appear.
- Select the services to include, then click Add Selected to Pool.
