Yeastar Call Forwarding Guide

Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions for enabling call forwarding from your Linkus Desktop and Linkus Mobile applications on the Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition PBX. It covers how to enable call forwarding on Linkus Desktop, how to enable it on Linkus Mobile, and how to verify that call forwarding is active.

Enable Call Forwarding on Linkus Desktop

1. Open the Linkus Desktop Client and sign in with your credentials.
2. Click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner of the window.
3. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
4. Navigate to Call Forwarding under the Call Settings section.
5. Choose the forwarding condition:
   • Always Forward: all calls are forwarded immediately.
   • When Busy: calls are forwarded only when your line is busy.
   • No Answer: calls are forwarded if not answered within a set time.
6. Enter the destination number or extension you want calls to be forwarded to.
7. Click Save or Apply to activate call forwarding.

Enable Call Forwarding on Linkus Mobile

1. Open the Linkus Mobile App on your smartphone and log in.
2. Tap More (three dots or menu icon) at the bottom-right corner.
3. Go to Settings > Call Forwarding.
4. Choose your preferred forwarding option: Always Forward, When Busy, or No Answer.
5. Enter the number or extension to forward calls to.
6. Tap Save or Confirm to enable call forwarding.

Verify Call Forwarding

• Return to the Call Forwarding settings page and ensure the toggle is ON.
• You can also test by calling your extension from another number.
• If the call forwards to the configured number, your setup is complete.
