3rd Party On-Site Technical Support – Telco Adviser

Purpose

This document provides CommsChannel partners and account managers with informational guidance regarding the availability of third-party on-site technical support services that can be engaged directly by partners or end customers if required.

CommsChannel is not affiliated with, does not endorse, and does not act as a guarantor for any third-party service provider referenced herein.
All engagements, coordination, payments, and liabilities remain solely between the engaging party and the third-party vendor.


1. Overview

Some partners and customers may require on-site IT or telecommunications field support to assist with equipment installation, configuration, cabling, or network troubleshooting.

CommsChannel partners may independently engage Telco Adviser – an external field services organisation that operates across Australia and New Zealand, providing access to a large network of qualified, locally based field technicians.

Telco Adviser offers scalable deployment options suitable for both ad-hoc and ongoing support needs.
Services are charged according to time, locality, and notice period, and all bookings are made directly with the provider.


2. Service Coverage and Scope

Telco Adviser maintains a network of over 500 field technicians covering:

  • Metropolitan areas – within a 50 km radius of all Australian capital cities

  • Regional areas – within a 100 km radius of all Australian capital cities

  • Rural and remote areas – locations beyond the 100 km regional radius

  • New Zealand – major cities and regional centres

Typical activities performed by Telco Adviser technicians include:

  • Structured cabling and patching

  • Modem, router, and switch installation or replacement

  • Hardware diagnostics and equipment swap-outs

  • Fault isolation and on-site testing for data, NBN, or VoIP circuits

  • Customer-premises equipment (CPE) setup

  • Site surveys, network assessments, and hand-over documentation

  • Power and rack installation assistance

  • Urgent or scheduled call-outs for telecommunications equipment support

Note: This list is indicative only. The actual scope, deliverables, and cost will depend on the partner’s direct agreement with Telco Adviser.


3. Booking Process

All bookings must be made directly with Telco Adviser via their official portal or contact channels.
Bookings are subject to technician availability and confirmation by Telco Adviser.
Urgent or after-hours call-outs incur higher rates in accordance with the provider’s published rate card.


4. Rates and Pricing

Detailed rate information (hourly, day rates, travel, and induction costs) is available in Telco Adviser’s Bronze Rate Card.
Partners and account managers may refer to the rate card for estimation purposes; however, pricing and service terms are set solely by Telco Adviser and may vary without notice.

CommsChannel does not invoice, collect payment, or participate in any commercial transaction between partners/customers and Telco Adviser.

While CommsChannel provides this information for convenience, any engagement with Telco Adviser or similar providers is at the sole risk and responsibility of the engaging party.
