How to Remove & Add eSIM (iPhone)

Step 1 – Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Make sure the iPhone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before starting.


Step 2 – Remove Existing eSIM (if any)

  1. Go to SettingsMobile Service (or Cellular).

  2. Select the existing eSIM line.

  3. Tap Delete eSIM → confirm.

  4. Restart the iPhone (recommended).


Step 3 – Load New eSIM

  1. Stay connected to Wi-Fi.

  2. Go to SettingsMobile ServiceAdd eSIM.

  3. Choose Use QR Code (or Enter Details Manually if provided).

  4. Scan the QR code (or enter activation details).

  5. Wait while the iPhone downloads and activates the eSIM profile.


Step 4 – Verify Activation

  • Once added, check under Settings → Mobile Service to confirm the new line shows as Active.

  • Make sure Your Carrier is selected for Calls, SMS, and Data.
