Overview

This guide explains how to add a system greeting to a call flow in the 1300 Comms Portal Flow Designer by uploading an audio file that plays to the caller before being forwarded to an answering point.


Steps to Set Up a System Greeting

  1. Log in to the 1300 Comms Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Flow Designer and open the relevant call flow.
  3. Locate the Play action in the actions panel.
  4. Drag the Play action onto the canvas and position it between the Incoming Call node and the Call answering point.
  5. Click on the Play action to configure it.
  6. Click Browse to locate and select an audio file from your system.
  7. Upload the selected audio file.
  8. Click Save on the Play action.
  9. Confirm the flow order is correct — the greeting should play first, then forward the call to the answering point.
  10. Click Save to save the flow, then click Publish to make the flow live.
