Overview
This guide explains how to add a system greeting to a call flow in the 1300 Comms Portal Flow Designer by uploading an audio file that plays to the caller before being forwarded to an answering point.
Steps to Set Up a System Greeting
- Log in to the 1300 Comms Portal.
- Navigate to the Flow Designer and open the relevant call flow.
- Locate the Play action in the actions panel.
- Drag the Play action onto the canvas and position it between the Incoming Call node and the Call answering point.
- Click on the Play action to configure it.
- Click Browse to locate and select an audio file from your system.
- Upload the selected audio file.
- Click Save on the Play action.
- Confirm the flow order is correct — the greeting should play first, then forward the call to the answering point.
- Click Save to save the flow, then click Publish to make the flow live.
